Images painted by master craftsmen on the caps, which are made of the finest Meissen porcelain, illustrate enchantingly the Venetian carnival, ancient mythology and the realm of fabled creatures. The crossed blue swords on the cap symbolise the manufacture of world-renowned Meissen porcelain.
The pens in the Annual Edition 2004, issued only for one year, are given a touch of supreme craftsmanship by the gold-plated barrel with its guilloche, the year of the edition on the cap and the 18-karat gold nib.
