Where can I purchase Montblanc Products?

Montblanc products are sold exclusively in more than 500 Montblanc boutiques worldwide, through authorized retailers and jewelers. You can purchase a Montblanc product directly on www.montblanc.com or you can use the Montblanc Store Locator to find a boutique near you.

How long does it take to service a Montblanc Product?

The service time for a Montblanc product depends on the product category. Detailed information and the exact lead time will be given to you after an inspection of your product at a Montblanc boutique or a Montblanc service center.

Where can I have my Montblanc product engraved or embossed?

The website offers you the possibility of writing instrument engraving. Simply add a writing instrument to your basket and follow the instructions.

Important Note: not every Montblanc product can be engraved/embossed. Please check with our brand ambassadors.

How can I prevent my Montblanc Product from any Breakage or Damage?

Does Montblanc offer a Certificate of Originality?

We are pleased to inform you that we offer a Certificate of Originality. The certificate is issued by the International Customer Service in Hamburg, Germany and is available in English only. A service fee will be charged.

How can I have my nib exchanged?

You can have your nib exchanged by a Montblanc boutique or a Montblanc service center. Please use the Montblanc Store Locator to find a boutique near you.

Every nib made by Montblanc is crafted and polished by hand. To offer the perfect nib for each individual handwriting, Montblanc offers an exclusive selection of eight different nib widths. Choosing the right nib to match your personal writing style will allow you to write effortlessly.

If the nib is not a perfect match for you, the Montblanc Customer Service offers a free nib exchange within six weeks after purchase. For Limited Editions, the nib exchange is free of charge within one year after purchase. Please note that this free service only applies if the nib is still in mint condition.

Can I use other Ink besides the Montblanc Ink?

Montblanc offers an exclusive selection of different Montblanc ink colours.

In order to best protect your Montblanc fountain pen from any damage, please only use the Montblanc ink.

Can I have my Signature engraved on my Writing instrument?

We offer the possibility to do a signature engraving. Our Brand ambassador at 1-844-774-4810 will help you place your order. You will need to send us a scan (jpeg) of your signature.  There is usually a 1-2 additional day turnaround to process the order. Please note Montblanc does not charge this service.

Can I get a Spare Part separately and repair my Writing Instrument by myself?

In order to maintain our high quality standards, we are exclusively offering repair services at our Montblanc boutique or Montblanc service centers.

What can I do if my Watch doesn’t work?

Your Montblanc watch can be handed in at a Montblanc boutique, authorized retailer or jeweler for readjustment. For further information, please contact Customer Service or send an e-mail to service.ca@montblanc.com.

CAN I HAVE MY LEATHER STRAP EXCHANGED OR MY STEEL BRACELET CLEANED?

Yes, you can visit one of our Montblanc boutiques, authorized retailer or jeweler to receive further information on the individual service options.

How can I have the Battery of my Watch exchanged?

It is very important to request a maintenance service for your quartz watch every three years. This maintenance is essential to ensure the performance of the movement. Please hand in your Montblanc watch to a Montblanc boutique or authorized retailer to ensure it is in the hands of a qualified technician. Please use the Montblanc Store Locator to find a boutique near you.

Does Montblanc offer a Polishing Service for Watches?

Even if you take extremely good care of your Montblanc watch, scratches or blemishes may still appear on the case or bracelet. We advise polishing your watch to recover its original brilliance and shine. The watch has to be dismantled completely. Please note that polishing is only included in a complete service. In order to take advantage of this service option, please hand in your Montblanc watch at a Montblanc boutique or authorized retailer to ensure it is in the hands of one of our certified watchmaker. Does Montblanc offer professional Cleaning for Leather Products?

Please do not use regular shoe polish or other leather care on your Montblanc leather product.

IS ENGRAVING/EMBOSSING AVAILABLE ONLINE?

Engraving is available online as a complimentary service on writing instruments. Embossing is currently only available via the Customer Service Centre. If you wish to have your Montblanc writing instrument engraved, please follow the instructions detailed in the shopping process on the website or contact Montblanc Customer Service at 1-844-774-4810

Please note: Products that have been engraved cannot be returned to Montblanc for exchange or refund.

ARE ALL MONTBLANC PRODUCTS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ONLINE?

No. Only products below $10,000 are available to purchase online. To purchase product above this limit, please call our brand ambassadors at 1-844-774-4810 – 9:00am to 9:00pm, Monday to Friday. Or send an email to service.ca@montblanc.com

We can also experience stock shortages from time to time. In that case, we recommend you to call our brand ambassadors or come back at a later date.

HOW CAN I ORDER PRODUCTS THAT ARE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE?

Montblanc does not accept orders for products that are not available. However, by contacting the Customer Service Centre at 1-844-774-4810, you can request to be informed when a product is back in stock or find out whether it is available at a Montblanc boutique. When a product is back in stock, you can choose to be informed via e-mail or phone to purchase this item.

WHICH SHIPPING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE ON MONTBLANC.COM?

Only shipping addresses in Canada will be accepted. We do not ship internationally. To ensure the secure delivery of your order, Montblanc does not ship orders to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses or hotels.

Only standard shipping is available for now. A $5.95 shipping fee will be applied to all orders below $50. Shipping will be complimentary for orders above $50.
Delivery costs will be charged by Montblanc, in addition to the price of the Montblanc products themselves. For certain promotional phases, complimentary shipping may be offered.

CAN MY ORDER BE SHIPPED TO AN INTERNATIONAL LOCATION?

Unfortunately not. We are currently only able to accept online orders to shipping addresses in Canada.

WHICH PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

For online purchases we accept payment by credit card and paypal. The credit cards that can be used are American Express, MasterCard and Visa. WILL MY MONTBLANC.COM PURCHASE BE GIFT-WRAPPED?

Montblanc Online Shop purchases are presented in the signature Montblanc box or other special packaging and they are all gift-wrapped. The only exceptions are calendar, notebook and refills. At the checkout you have the option of adding a complimentary gift message for each item ordered. The gift card is enclosed in an envelope. If you choose not to write a gift message, a blank card will be included.

HOW CAN I CHECK AN ORDER I PLACED ON MONTBLANC.COM?

Once the order has been processed we will send you an order acknowledgement by email. Please note that this acknowledgement is not a confirmation of your order. You will receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order with the invoice attached the morning following dispatch.
If you have registered as a customer you can also log into your personal online account of our Website (“My Montblanc” section) to check the status of your order.

HOW CAN I RETURN/EXCHANGE A PRODUCT?

You can return/exchange Montblanc products purchased on the website or by phone within fourteen (14) days following the day on which Montblanc sends a Confirmation of Order and ships the product.

To do this, please follow the following steps:
i)    Call the Client Relations Center at 1-844-774-4810 to request a Return Authorization Number (RAN). This number is required prior to returning any product to Montblanc,  
ii)    Fill out the required information, list the applicable Return Authorization Number (RAN) on the return form included in the package and sign it,
iii)    Include the completed return form with the product, all its accessories, the Product User Guide, the Warranty Card and all other documents, in its original box and delivery package,
iv)    Seal the delivery package and affix the pre-paid delivery label to it,
v)    Bring the package to the carrier location or arrange pick-up.
 
As soon as the product has arrived back with us, and gone through a quality check, we will refund your credit card with the full amount due.

Products that have been engraved or embossed cannot be returned/exchanged to Montblanc.

HOW DO I UNSUBSCRIBE FROM YOUR MAILINGS OR NEWSLETTERS?

You can edit your subscription settings by logging in to “My Montblanc” on the Montblanc website.

CAN I CHANGE AN ORDER ONCE IT HAS BEEN PLACED?

You can’t change an order once it’s placed but you can always process a return/exchange after you received your package.

HOW CAN I FOLLOW THE STATUS OF MY DELIVERY?

You will receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order the morning after dispatch.
If you are a registered customer you can also log into your personal online account on our Website (“My Montblanc” section) to check the status of the order.

WILL THE DELIVERY BE DELAYED BY HAVING A PEN ENGRAVED?

No, an engraving will not delay the delivery time. Our estimated lead times are as follows:  

- Orders that are received after 4pm EST Monday to Friday will be processed the following business day. Saturday and Sunday are not considered as regular business days.
- Orders that are placed over the weekend or on public bank holidays will be processed the following business day.

HOW TO FIND THE CORRECT REFILL?

Montblanc offers a wide range of refills for writing instruments. You can browse the refills section on the website to find the most appropriate refill.
