CONDITIONS OF SALEONLINE SHOP AND CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE MONTBLANC NETHERLANDS
- 1. GENERAL
The following terms and conditions and any other related rules that are adopted by Montblanc and made available as provided herein (collectively the “Conditions of Sale”) shall apply to all sales of Montblanc products (the “Products”) that you (the “Customer” or “you”) may order from RLG Europe B.V., a company existing under the laws of the Netherlands and having its registered offices at Herengracht 436, 107BZ Amsterdam, The Netherlands, with company number 33134283 and VAT identification number NL 0014.68.583.B01, hereinafter referred to as “Montblanc” or as “us”, “our” or “we”) either (a) by phone (020 47 02 151) via the customer contact centre of Montblanc (the “Customer Service Centre”) or (b) on the Internet via Montblanc’s Website, identified by the domain name www.montblanc.com (the "Website").
These Conditions of Sale exclusively apply to sales made through the Customer Service Centre or the Website. Sales conducted through Montblanc retail boutiques, Montblanc shop-in-shops or authorised Montblanc dealers are not subject to these Conditions of Sale.
Montblanc may modify the Conditions of Sale from time to time, at its sole discretion. The Conditions of Sale applicable to any order placed through the Customer Service Centre or the Website are those in force at the time that an order has been placed on your behalf by a Montblanc representative (in the case of an order placed through the Customer Service Centre) or at the time you place your order (in the case of an order placed through the Website). In the case of an order placed through the Website, when you check the “I Accept” box at the order confirmation section of the Website before placing your order with Montblanc, you indicate your acknowledgment and full acceptance of these Conditions of Sale.
If you refuse to accept these Conditions of Sale, you will not be able to order any Montblanc products from the Website or the Customer Service Centre.
- 2. PURCHASING ELIGIBILITY
Only individuals who (a) have reached the age of majority (eighteen), (b) have legal capacity to enter into contracts, (c) are living in the Netherlands and d) are acting in a capacity that is unrelated to any business or professional activity may order Products through the Customer Service Centre or on the Website. If you are under the age of majority or otherwise cannot lawfully enter into a contract, you must have your parent or guardian place an order on your behalf. Any orders placed in contravention to this provision and any related contracts made on the basis of such orders shall be null and void.
By placing an order through the Customer Service Centre or on the Website, you represent and warrant that you are a bona fide end-user customer and will not deliver, sell or otherwise distribute the Products or purchase Products for commercial purposes or any other commercial benefit. If Montblanc believes in its sole discretion that an order would be in breach of these Terms and Conditions, then Montblanc may refuse such order.
- 3. NATURE OF ORDERS
The display of Products on the Website constitutes an offer to you to submit an order to Montblanc. The purchase contract will be concluded once Montblanc has sent you an email confirming the receipt of your order.
- 4. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY; QUANTITY
All orders placed through the Customer Service Centre or on the Website are subject to availability and acceptance by Montblanc according to its free business decision. The product availability is condition precedent to your order.
Montblanc reserves the right to change the assortment of Products proposed on the Website or through the Customer Service Centre and may, in particular, limit from time to time the quantity of the Products that may be ordered by a Customer in a single buying session. Orders may not exceed nine (9) pieces of the same product reference in any single buying session on the Website or through the Customer Service Centre.
The Customer Service Centre and the Product pages of the Website can provide you with information regarding Products that are currently presented for sale through those channels. Please note that only the Products displaying an “Add to Bag” button are available for sale through the Website and the Customer Service Centre. Montblanc reserves the right to change from time to time the assortment of items offered on its product pages. You may also call the Customer Service Centre (020 47 02 151) and a Montblanc representative will provide you with further information as to Product availability and assist you with your purchase.
- 5. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION; PERSONAL INFORMATION
In order to place an order through the Customer Service Centre or on the Website, you or the Montblanc representative (on your behalf) will be required to register and create your online account, unless you select the "Guest Checkout". In order to register, you will be required to provide valid and up-to-date personal information, such as your full name, phone number and e-mail address.
Upon completion of your account registration on the Website or by the Montblanc representative, you will receive an email summarising the personal information and a link to the “My Account” section of the Website, whereby you will be able to set or change your user name, password and personal information. You are responsible for ensuring that your password and account login are kept secret, safe and secure at all times. Montblanc will not be held responsible or liable for any misuse of your account resulting from a third party’s access to and use of your password and account login.
- 6. ORDERS
If you are ordering on the Website, orders will be processed as follows: once you have chosen a Product, click on the “Add to Bag” button to place this Product in your "Shopping Bag". You may then decide to continue shopping for other Products and add them to your shopping bag (subject to availability and quantity limits) or proceed to checkout by clicking on the “Proceed to Checkout” button. You may also remove one or several Products you have selected by clicking on "Remove" next to the chosen Product in the Shopping Bag.
When ordering by telephone through the Customer Service Centre (020 47 02 151), a Montblanc representative will follow the order process on your behalf.
When placing an order through the Customer Service Centre or on the Website, you will be required to provide other personal information as applicable, such as shipping address, billing address and payment details. You warrant that all personal information given to Montblanc is true and correct. Montblanc or its third party providers may collect additional information at this time for security and anti-fraud purposes.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary provided for herein, Montblanc reserves the right to refuse, cancel and terminate orders at any moment in time. For example, Montblanc may refuse, terminate or cancel your order if there is an ongoing dispute concerning payment of a prior order or if Montblanc suspects that you have engaged in fraudulent activities or have otherwise violated these Conditions of Sale.
- 7. PRICES, TAX AND DELIVERY COSTS
All prices shown on the Product pages of the Website or quoted by the Customer Service Centre are in Euro, including VAT, but excluding delivery costs and any other taxes, unless stated otherwise.
Montblanc reserves the right to modify prices and delivery costs at any time without prior notice. The price of a Product and delivery costs displayed on the Website or quoted by the Customer Service Centre, as indicated at the time Montblanc provides you with a Confirmation of Order, will be honoured by Montblanc.
Actual delivery costs and applicable VAT will be reflected on your order page before you are asked to confirm and place your order (in the case of a Website order), or will be quoted by the Customer Service Centre (in the case of a telephone order), and will also appear on your Confirmation of Order and invoice (if you choose to receive an invoice). Delivery costs, if any, are described in the delivery policy set forth below.
Please note that in case of changes to the applicable VAT rates between the date your order is placed and the date Montblanc is ready to ship your order, we will contact you and ask you to reconfirm your order. If Montblanc cannot obtain your instructions, Montblanc will cancel the order and notify you of such cancellation.
- 8. REVIEW AND CONFIRMATION BY CUSTOMER
Our Website ordering process allows you to check and amend any errors in your order before submitting your order to us. You should carefully check all details before placing your order through the Customer Service Centre or on the Website, including without limitation the particulars of each sale, which will be provided by the Montblanc representative (in the case of an order being placed through the Customer Service Centre) or the Website (in the case of an order being placed through the Website).
When you have completely reviewed your offer to purchase, check the box next to “I have read and I accept” to indicate your agreement to be bound by these Conditions of Sale, and then click on the "Place order" button on the Website to place your order.
By placing an order through the Website, you are entering into a (binding) sales contract with Montblanc, subject to the conditions precedent defined in Articles 4, 9 and 10 of the present Conditions of Sale.
- 9. PAYMENT METHODS
Montblanc accepts the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards, PayPal and iDEAL (internet banking for Netherlands-based customers) with a Dutch billing address. We also accept international Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards from selected countries, provided that your shipping address and residence address arein the Netherlands.
All payment card holders and users of other accepted forms of online payment (such as PayPal and iDEAL) are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer or bank, which are conditions precedent to your order. If the issuer of your payment card or your bank refuses to authorise payment to Montblanc, you will need to contact your card issuer or bank directly to solve this problem, and Montblanc will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
In order to process your order, we may perform a pre-authorisation of your payment card. The amount of your purchase will be blocked on your payment card until your order is shipped to the delivery address you have provided to Montblanc, at which time you will be sent a Confirmation of Order and your payment card will be charged the applicable purchase price. By submitting an offer to purchase the Products on the Website or through the Customer Service Centre, you expressly authorise Montblanc to perform such payment card pre-authorisation and, where Montblanc deems necessary, to transmit or to obtain information (including any updated information) about you to or from third parties, including but not limited to your payment card number, to authenticate your identity, to validate your payment card, to obtain an initial payment card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.
Montblanc takes precautions — including administrative, technical, and physical measures — to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Montblanc uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption on all web pages where personal information is collected. Unfortunately, transmitting information over the Internet is not completely secure.
In order to secure your transaction and prevent fraud, Montblanc will perform a payment card and anti-fraud check. By placing your order, you will be deemed to have authorised Montblanc to perform such checks and, where Montblanc deems necessary, from time to time to transmit or obtain information that you have provided to Montblanc about you in order to authenticate your identity, to validate your payment card, to obtain an initial payment card authorisation and to authorise a particular purchase transaction.
- 10. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF ORDER
Once you have placed your order through the Customer Service Centre or on the Website, you will receive an Acknowledgment of Order by email acknowledging the details of your order. This Acknowledgment of Order will contain an Order Reference Number assigned by Montblanc. Please make sure that you save this Order Reference Number for any future enquiries regarding your order. Following the transmission of the Acknowledgment of Order, Montblanc will conduct its usual security and anti-fraud checks, which are conditions precedent to your order, and then process your order.
When ordering by telephone through the Customer Service Centre, you will also receive by fax or email these Conditions of Sale along with the Acknowledgment of Order. Please carefully review these Conditions of Sale upon receipt.
- 11. CONFIRMATION OF ORDER BY MONTBLANC
Upon shipment of the Products you have ordered, following completion by Montblanc of its anti-fraud and security checks, Montblanc will send you by email a shipment confirmation.
- 12. COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES
The following complimentary services may be proposed, free of charge, on the Website or by the Customer Service Centre:
- 12.1. Gift wrap, Gift Card and Montblanc Box or special packaging
All packages are systematically delivered gift wrapped, with the complimentary Montblanc Box or special packaging. The Montblanc Box and special packaging may be valuable. In case you decide to return the Product, the Product should be returned in its original Montblanc box or special packaging.
- 12.2. Personalised Products
Engraving is available on selected writing instruments. Further, selected leather products may be embossed.
If you wish to have your Product engraved or embossed, please provide the details on the Website or to the Montblanc representative.
Personalised Products cannot be returned to Montblanc for exchange or refund. Further, the right to cancel does not apply to personalised products. However, this will not affect your legal rights as a consumer in relation to personalised Products that are faulty or not as described.
Each engraving and embossing is handmade. Please note that as a result thereof slight differences might occur from one result to another or in comparison to the sample picture. Such differences are inevitable and do not constitute a fault.
Montblanc in particular reserves the right to withhold or refuse acceptance of any order for engraved or embossed Products that contains language that is objectionable or unlawful.
- 12.3. Gift note
You may personalise your order by adding a complimentary gift note printed by Montblanc containing your message. If you have ordered several Products, you may personalise each individual gift note.
Montblanc reserves the right to withhold or refuse acceptance of any order for Products accompanied by a gift note that contains language that is objectionable or unlawful.
- 13. DELIVERY POLICY
We only deliver to addresses in the Netherlands. Please note that Montblanc does not ship to PO boxes, military addresses or hotels.
Delivery costs will be assessed by Montblanc and will be added to the price of the Products themselves. The cost of delivery will be calculated according to the purchase value of your order as indicated in the table below. During certain promotional phases, complimentary delivery may be offered.
When estimating package delivery time, please allow time for credit approval, address verification and order processing. Once the order is processed and ready for dispatch, we will send you the Confirmation of Order by email. You can access a UPS tracking number that will allow you to track the status of your order online by logging into the order history of your account.
We will use reasonable efforts to ensure the following estimated delivery lead times from the date of acceptance of your order:

Please be advised that express shipping is not available for orders containing fragrances. These orders will be sent using standard ground delivery.
Please note that in certain cases, for example if you have requested engraving, delivery may be delayed. In such cases, the Customer Service Centre will contact you to propose other arrangements and refund charges associated with your overnight delivery.
Each delivery package will contain, in addition to your purchased Product: (i) all related accessories, if any, (ii) a thank you card; (iii) the document holder including the Product Manual, as applicable, the Certificate of Authenticity (if any) and the Service Guide (including Montblanc's International Guarantee); (iv) a printed gift note containing your message, if so requested by you when you place your order; and (v) a delivery note that indicates the Order Reference Number.
Montblanc insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature by a person who has reached the age of majority to confirm your acceptance of each Product delivered, at which point risk and responsibility for your purchased Products pass to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you understand and accept that evidence of a signature by such recipient (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment of the sale contract by Montblanc and transfer of risk and responsibility to the recipient in the same way as if the Product had been delivered to you.
- 14. INVOICES
When ordering Products on the Website or through the Customer Service Centre, you, as the Customer, will receive an invoice by e-mail. The invoice will also be available in the "My Account" section on the Website, provided you are a registered Customer. You have the option to receive an invoice to your billing address by regular mail by calling the Customer Service Centre (020 47 02 151) at any time during opening hours, subject to proper identification.
If you purchase a Product as a gift for a third person ("Gift Recipient"), the invoice will be sent to your email address and stored in the "My Account" section, provided you have registered an account with Montblanc.com. Montblanc will never send the invoice and payment details to the Gift Recipient.
- 15. YOUR CANCELLATION RIGHTS AND RETURN POLICY
Without limiting in any way your rights under Dutch law (please see section 19 Governing Law and Jurisdiction) and to make the return process easier, a Customer (not a gift recipient) may return Products in accordance with the return and exchange policy set forth below.
Details of your legal right to cancel and an explanation of how to exercise are provided in the Confirmation of Order and in section 15.6 below.15.1. Return Period
The Customer is entitled to cancel the contract and unequivocally inform Montblanc that she or he does not wish to keep a Product purchased on the Website or through the Customer Service Centre (i) at any time before Montblanc sends the Confirmation of Order; or (ii) within fourteen (14) days after the Product has been received (“Return Period”), in accordance with applicable law and the terms and conditions set forth below. No returns will be accepted by Montblanc after the Return Period.
- 15.2. Return Process
Products that have been purchased on the Website or through the Customer Service Centre may be returned to the E-Commerce Customer Service Centre at the following address:

and cannot be returned to a Montblanc boutique or an authorised Montblanc dealer. Products that were not purchased on the Website or through the Customer Service Centre may NOT be returned to the E-Commerce Customer Service Centre.
To make the return process easier, Montblanc kindly advises you to proceed as follows:
(i) Contact the Customer Service Centre (phone at 020 47 02 151, email email@example.com) to obtain a return number (RN);
(ii) Montblanc will arrange a free of charge UPS pick-up service for your return. Please provide the Customer Service Representative with your preferred pick-up venue;
(iii) You will thereafter receive an email with your RN confirming the return process;
(iv) Include the Product, all its accessories, the Product Manual, the Certificate of Authenticity (if any), the Service Guide (including Montblanc's International Guarantee) and all other documents in the original box and seal the delivery package;
(v) Handover the sealed package to the UPS representative at the agreed pick-up venue
(vi) The UPS representative will provide a prepaid return label for your package;
(vii) Sign the pick-up confirmation.
Montblanc bears the cost of the UPS pick-up service.
Should you choose not to follow the above mentioned return process, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the Product to Montblanc. You must take reasonable care to ensure that the Product is correctly addressed, adequately packaged, bears adequate postage and reaches Montblanc safely and is not damaged or lost in transit. Montblanc also recommends that you insure the Product against such risks of damage or loss up to the full price of the Product.
The Customer shall send back the Product to the E-Commerce Customer Service Centre without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 (fourteen) days from the day on which he or she unequivocally informed Montblanc that he or she does not want to keep the Product. Any failure to do so may delay any reimbursement that the Customer may be entitled to receive. Any failure to return the original Montblanc Box or special packaging in proper condition will entitle Montblanc to withhold the corresponding value from such reimbursement.
We recommend the Customers to keep a proof of return shipment.
Upon receiving a return, Montblanc will verify that the returned Product satisfies the conditions of the return policy.
- 15.3. Returning a Product following Cancellation
The Products shall be returned in an unused state and in perfect condition, with all protective materials in place and tags, dongles and stickers attached to them subject to quality inspection and functional testing as defined below. You must take reasonable care of the Product when examining it. With regard to any deterioration of the Product, compensation is only due if the deterioration is caused by a use beyond the ordinary quality inspection and functional testing of the Product. "Quality inspection and functional testing" is understood to mean the testing of the Product as one would usually do in a retail outlet. Any failure to return the original Montblanc Box or special packaging in proper condition will entitle Montblanc to withhold the corresponding value from such refund.
Personalised Products cannot be returned to Montblanc for exchange or refund. Further, the right to cancel does not apply to personalised products. However, this will not affect your legal rights as a consumer in relation to personalised Products that are defective or not as described.
All returns will be subject to strict Quality Control (QC) by Montblanc to ensure that the returned Product satisfies these requirements. If the Product does not meet QC standards, Montblanc may claim damages from the Customer.
- 15.4. Refund
Should a Product be returned to the E-Commerce Customer Service Centre, only a Customer will be entitled to receive a refund. In no event will a Gift Recipient be entitled to receive a refund.
Outbound delivery costs will be refunded to the Customer. Yet, Montblanc shall not be required to reimburse the supplementary costs, if the Customer has expressly opted for a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery used or offered by Montblanc.
The purchase price of the Product and the costs of its delivery to you will be refunded to Customer’s payment card no later than fourteen (14) days of receiving the Product back or receiving proof that the Product has been sent back.
- 15.5. Exchange
Customer may be permitted to exchange a Product purchased on the Website or through the Customer Service Centre for another Product if the Product to be exchanged satisfies the conditions of the return policy.
Montblanc will send an invoice to the Customer which specifies the value of the returned Product, the price of the Product for which the original Product has been exchanged and the difference to be paid by Customer or the amount that the Customer is entitled to receive, as indicated below.
Should a Product be returned for exchange to the E-Commerce Customer Service Centre by the Customer, the original order will be cancelled and the Customer will be entitled to receive a refund of the price difference if the Product to be exchanged is more expensive than the desired Product or will be charged the price difference if the Product to be exchanged is less expensive than the desired Product. A new order will be placed in accordance with these Conditions of Sale with respect to the exchanged Product.
- 15.6 Right to Cancel
Right to cancel
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reasons.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us, E-Commerce Customer Service Centre, Hellgrundweg 100, 22525 Hamburg, Germany, E-Mail: firstname.lastname@example.org, phone 020 47 02 151 of your decision to cancel this contract by clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value or any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than –
(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel the contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You will have to bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
Products not purchased through the Customer Service Centre or the Website may not be returned to the E-Commerce Customer Service Centre.
Pursuant to Article 230p (f) of Book 6 of the Dutch Civil Codecontracts for the supply of personalised Products, like Products specifically engraved for you, are exempt from cancellation rights.
Should a Product be returned to the E-Commerce Customer Service Centre, only a Customer will be entitled to receive a refund. In no event will a Gift Recipient be entitled to receive a refund.
- 15.7 Model cancellation form

- 16. NON-CONFORMING PRODUCTS
Montblanc is extremely cautious in ensuring that each product strictly complies with our quality criteria and that it has passed all our controls, both technical and aesthetic.
If nevertheless you receive a product which seems to be damaged, you may return it to Montblanc per the return process outlined above. Upon receipt, Montblanc may classify the returned product as a defective product. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be defective.
If your product is declared as defective by Montblanc, the following solutions will be proposed to the Customer or the Gift Recipient, as applicable:
I) Montblanc may send you the same product in the exact same size, subject to availability,
II) Montblanc may propose an exchange for another Montblanc creation of equivalent or greater value, in accordance with the exchange rules of these Conditions of Sale, or
III) Only you, as the Customer, may request a refund of the full price of your initial purchase.
- 16.1 Non-conforming Product
Montblanc is extremely cautious in ensuring that each Product strictly complies with our quality criteria and that it has passed all our controls, both technical and aesthetic.
If nevertheless you or the Gift Recipient receive a Product which seems defective or is not as described on the Website (“Non-conforming Product”), you or the Gift Recipient may return it to Montblanc as per the return process outlined above. Upon receipt, Montblanc may classify the Product as a defective Product. Please note that Products that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be defective.
If Montblanc concludes that the Product is a Non-conforming Product, you or the Gift Recipient, as applicable, may require Montblanc to:
(i) Replace it with an identical Product, subject to availability;
(ii) Repair the Product (if such repair is commercially reasonable); or
(iii) Refund the full price of the Product to the Customer (not to the Gift Recipient).
Montblanc may also (but is not obliged to) offer to exchange the Non-conforming Product for another Product of equivalent value or of greater value (in the latter case, subject to the payment by the Customer of the price difference). Such exchange shall be made in accordance with the exchange rules of these Conditions of Sale.
If you or the Gift Recipient do not agree with Montblanc’s conclusion as to whether the Product is a defective Product, Montblanc may (but is not obliged to) carry out further independent testing and inspection. You or the Gift Recipient will be charged for this inspection if the inspector concludes that the Product was not defective. This, however, does not affect your statutory rights. In addition to your statutory rights and while making every effort to ensure that each Product strictly complies with our quality criteria Montblanc grants the below Montblanc International Guarantee.
- 16.2. Montblanc International Guarantee
The following Montblanc International Guarantee applies to Montblanc Products sold or presented for guarantee service in any country (excluding United States of America, Canada and Australia).
What the Montblanc International Guarantee Covers and For How Long
Your Montblanc Product has been manufactured according to the high quality standards of Montblanc, with all the care and patience dedicated to them by our devoted craftsman. Nevertheless, the Montblanc Product is covered by this Montblanc International Guarantee against defects in manufacturing and materials. Montblanc warrants its product against defects in materials and manufacturing for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase (the “Guarantee period”). If the product is returned during the Guarantee period, Montblanc will repair or replace any defective Montblanc Product or part free of charge within a reasonable time after the product is returned, subject to the right to charge for shipping costs. Upon expiration of the Guarantee period, any repairs will be subject to a service charge.
How to Obtain Service
You may obtain service by bringing or sending the Montblanc Product to your authorized Montblanc boutique, Montblanc dealer or to any Montblanc service center as further indicated in the service guide. You are responsible for transportation costs, including but not limited to postage, insurance and packing materials. We recommend that any shipments to us include certified delivery and insurance.
In order to obtain service through this Montblanc International Guarantee, the returned Montblanc Product must be accompanied by the original Guarantee Certificate that was included with the Montblanc Product at the time of purchase, duly completed, dated, stamped and signed by an authorized Montblanc boutique or Montblanc dealer. Such Guarantee Certificate may only be completed by an authorized Montblanc boutique or Montblanc dealer.
What is Not Covered under the Montblanc International Guarantee
The Montblanc International Guarantee does not cover:
(a) defects and damages due to loss, theft or fire or other causes beyond our control;
(b) defects and damages resulting from misuse or negligence, or from accident;
(c) defects and damages caused by improper use (knocks, dents, crushing, etc.), alterations, tampering, dismantling or services and repairs completed by anyone else than an authorized Montblanc boutique, Montblanc dealer or Montblanc service center, or by the use of components or accessories (such as bottled ink or cartridges) other than those produced or recommended by Montblanc;
(d) defects and damages due to normal wear and tear;
(e) Montblanc Products where the serial number is removed or not clearly legible, or where any part of the original Montblanc Products has been removed, changed, altered, replaced, erased or defaced;
(f) routine maintenance and cleaning;
(g) battery cells, leather straps, rubber and metal bracelets.
How State and Other Laws Apply
The Montblanc International Guarantee gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from one country, province or territory to another.

- 18. ACCURACY OF PRICING, PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
IF A MONTBLANC PRODUCT’S CORRECT PRICE IS HIGHER THAN THE PRICE POSTED ON OUR WEBSITE, THEN MONTBLANC WILL CONTACT THE CUSTOMER FOR INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE DELIVERING THE ORDER. IF MONTBLANC CANNOT OBTAIN INSTRUCTIONS, MONTBLANC MAY REJECT THE ORDER AND NOTIFY YOU OF SUCH REJECTION.
- 19. FINAL PROVISIONS
- 19.1 Agreement
These Conditions of Sale (as amended from time to time), including policies incorporated herein, constitute the agreement between you and Montblanc regarding your purchase of Products through the Customer Service Centre or the Website.
- 19.2 Severability
In the event that any provision of the Conditions of Sale shall be determined to be partially void or unenforceable by any court and for any reason whatsoever, it shall be void or unenforceable to that extent only and no further and the validity and enforceability of any of the other provisions of the Conditions of Sale shall not be affected.
- 19.3 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Conditions of Sale are governed by English law. This means the contract for the purchase of the Products and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it will be governed by English law. You and we agree to that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
