Arts & Culture Music Prix Montblanc 2007 - Natasha Paremski

2007 - Natasha Paremski

Gala winner of the Prix Montblanc 2007 was the 20-year-old pianist Natasha Paremski. The young pianist was awarded the Prix Montblanc at the gala concert of the Philharmonia of Nations in Berlin on 10th October.

The Prix Montblanc is endowed with $10,000, as well as an exclusive Montblanc Donation Pen.

At the age of just 20, Natasha Paremski was already an extraordinarily mature musician, full of brilliant virtuosity. Whether on the stage in San Francisco, New York, London and Paris – or in 2006 at the shooting in St. Petersburg for a two-part BBC film about Tchaikovsky’s life and works – the charming pianist from Moscow uses technique, gusto and charisma to enrapture her audience.

One of the highlights of the gala concert in Berlin was the appearance of the young Welsh mezzosoprano Katherine Jenkins, who presented works from her album "From The Heart."

Hundreds of selected celebrities and highly respected Montblanc clients were personally invited to enjoy the gala as VIP guests with the Philharmonia of Nations in the concert hall at the "Gendarmenmarkt" in Berlin.
