The Perfect Material

A rare blend of superb craftsmanship and a passion for moulding the extraordinary transforms carefully selected leather into fine Montblanc creations. Every piece of leather arrives at the manufactory with its own stories to tell; however, each piece is not awarded the great honour of crafting a Montblanc product.

Acting as records of the lives the animals had led, the raw material tells stories in the form of scars, alluding to struggle, or perhaps even creased lines, illustrating the joy of living in the open, freely gazing at the sky.

Whether calfskin, deerskin, lambskin or southern German cowhide, only the finest, richest and most pristine specimens are chosen to become part of the Montblanc story.
