How long does it take to service a Montblanc Product?

The service time for a Montblanc product depends on the product category. Detailed information and the exact lead time can be given to you after an inspection of your product at a Montblanc boutique or a Montblanc service center.

How can I prevent my Montblanc Product from any Breakage or Damage?

Does Montblanc offer a Certificate of Originality?

We are pleased to inform you that we offer a Certificate of Originality. The certificate is issued by the Customer Service International in Hamburg, Germany and is available in English only. A service fee will be charged.

How can I have my nib exchanged?

You can have your nib exchanged by a Montblanc boutique or a Montblanc service center. Please use the Montblanc Store Locator  to find a boutique nearest to you.

Every nib made by Montblanc is crafted and polished by hand. To offer the perfect nib for each individual handwriting, Montblanc offers an exclusive selection of eight different nib widths. Choosing the right nib to match your personal writing style will allow you to write effortlessly.

If the nib is not a perfect match for you, the Montblanc Customer Service offers a free nib exchange within six weeks after purchase. For Limited Editions, the nib exchange is free of charge within one year after purchase. Please note that this free service only applies if the nib is still in mint condition.

Can I use other Ink besides the Montblanc Ink?

Montblanc offers an exclusive selection of different Montblanc ink colours.

In order to best protect your Montblanc fountain pen from any damage, please only use the Montblanc ink.

Can I have my Signature engraved on my Writing instrument?

Your Montblanc writing instrument can be engraved by a Montblanc service center. You can hand in your Montblanc writing instrument at a Montblanc boutique or an authorised retailer. Please use the Montblanc Store Locator  to find a boutique nearest to you.

Can I get a Spare Part separately and repair my Writing Instrument by myself?

In order to maintain our high quality standards, we are exclusively offering repair services at our Montblanc boutique or Montblanc service centers.

What can I do if my Watch doesn’t work?

How can I have my Leather Strap exchanged or my Steel Bracelet cleaned?

How can I have the Battery of my Watch exchanged?

It is very important to request a maintenance service for your quartz watch every three years. This maintenance is essential to ensure the performance of the movement. Please hand in  your Montblanc watch to a Montblanc boutique or authorised retailer to ensure it is in the hands of a qualified technician.  Please use the Montblanc Store Locator  to find a boutique nearest to you.

Does Montblanc offer a Polishing Service for Watches?

Even if you take extremely good care of your Montblanc watch, scratches or blemishes may still appear on the case or bracelet. We advise polishing your watch to recover its original brilliance and shine. The watch has to be dismantled completely. Please note that polishing is only included in a complete service. In order to take advantage of this  service option, please hand in your Montblanc watch at a  Montblanc boutique or authorised retailer to ensure it is in the hands of one of our certified watchmaker.  Please use the Montblanc Store Locator to find a boutique nearest to you.

Does Montblanc offer professional Cleaning for Leather Products?

We are pleased to inform you that we offer a set for leather care.

Important Note

Please do not use regular shoe polish or other leather care on your Montblanc leather product.

What can I do if I have lost a Diamond on my piece of Jewellery?

Is engraving/embossing available online?

Engraving is available online as a complimentary service on writing instruments. Embossing is currently only available via the Customer Service Centre. If you wish to have your Montblanc writing instrument engraved, please follow the instructions detailed in the shopping process on the website or contact Montblanc Customer Service on 1-800-995-4810.

Please note: Products that have been engraved cannot be returned to Montblanc for exchange or refund.
 

Are all Montblanc products available for purchase online?

The Montblanc Online Shop offers a wide range of Montblanc writing instruments, watches, leather goods, accessories and jewellery for online shopping. Refills for writing instruments and agendas can also be purchased online.

Where can I buy Montblanc products that are not for sale online?

Montblanc products are sold exclusively through our Montblanc Online Shop, through Montblanc boutiques and Montblanc’s retail network of authorized retailers.

How can I order products that are currently not available?

Montblanc does not accept orders for products that are not available. However, by contacting the Customer Service Centre on 1-800-995-4810, you can request to be informed when a product is back in stock or find out whether it is available in a Montblanc boutique. When a product is back in stock, you can choose to be informed via e-mail or phone to purchase this item online.
 

Which shipping options are available on Montblanc.com?

Currently we are only able to accept online orders to shipping addresses within the United States. We do not ship internationally. To ensure the secure delivery of your order, Montblanc does not ship orders to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses or hotels.

Delivery costs will be charged by Montblanc, in addition to the price of the Montblanc products themselves. The cost of delivery is calculated according to the purchase value of your order as indicated in the Conditions of Sale. For certain promotional phases, complimentary shipping may be offered.

Can my order be shipped to an international location?

Unfortunately not. We are currently only able to accept online orders to shipping addresses within the United States.

Which payment options are available?

For online purchases we accept payment by credit card and Paypal. The credit cards that can be used are MasterCard and Visa. If you would like to use American Express please contact the Customer Service Centre on 1-800-995-4810.

Will my Montblanc.com purchase be gift-wrapped?

Montblanc Online Shop purchases are presented in the signature Montblanc box or other special packaging and they are all gift-wrapped. The only exceptions are calendar, notebook and ink refills. At the checkout you have the option of adding a complimentary gift message for each item ordered. The gift card is enclosed in an envelope. If you choose not to write a gift message, a blank card will be included.

How can I check an order I placed on Montblanc.com?

Once the order has been processed we will send you an order acknowledgement by email. Please note that this acknowledgement is not a confirmation of your order. You will receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order with the invoice attached the morning following dispatch. The e-mail will also include the tracking number for you to check the progress of your delivery once the shipment is underway.

If you have registered as a customer you can also log into your personal online account of our Website (“My Account” section) to check the status of the order.

How can I exchange a product?

You can exchange Montblanc products purchased on the website or by phone within fourteen (14) days following the day on which Montblanc sends a Confirmation of Order and ships the product.

To do this we need to organise UPS to come and pick up the parcel from you. As soon as the product has arrived back with us, and gone through a quality check, we will refund your credit card with the full amount due.

You can place a new order for the desired product at any time in the Montblanc Online Shop or by calling us on 1-800-995-4810. Our representatives are available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST Monday through Friday and 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM EST on Saturday.

Products that have been engraved or embossed cannot be returned to Montblanc, nor can they be exchanged.
 

What is your returns policy? How can I return an item?

Products that have been purchased on the Website or through the Customer Service Center may be returned to the Montblanc Online Shop Distribution center, at the following address: RNA Logistics, Attn: MBNA-EDC, 2710 Regency Drive, Suite 500, Grand Prairie, TX 75050, and cannot be returned to any Montblanc boutique or Authorized Dealer.   
 
If you wish to return a product to the Montblanc Online Shop distribution center, you must comply with the following steps:
 
I) Call the Customer Service Center at 1-800-995-4810 to request a Return Authorization Number (RAN). This number is REQUIRED prior to returning any product to Montblanc.  No package will be accepted that does not have a valid Return Authorization number.
 
II) An e-mail acknowledging your return order, including the RAN, will be sent to the e-mail address that you had provided for your Montblanc.com account.
 
III) Include the product, all its accessories, the Product Manual, the Certificate of Authenticity, the Warranty Card and all other documents, in its original box and delivery package.
 
IV) Write the Return Authorization Number (RAN) clearly on the outside of the delivery package,
 
V) Send the package using a secure shipping method to:

VI) You must insure the merchandise properly at your expense and keep a proof of return shipment.  Montblanc accepts no liability in the event you are unable to produce such proof. Only merchandise received by the Montblanc Online Shop distribution center will be eligible for a refund.
 
Upon receiving your return, Montblanc will verify that the returned product satisfies the conditions of the return policy.
 
You, as the Customer, are able to monitor the return status in the “My Account” section.

How do I unsubscribe from your mailings or newsletters?

You can edit your subscription settings by logging in to “My Account” (Link to My account) on the Montblanc website.

Can I change an order once it has been placed?

In order to request a change to an existing order please contact the Montblanc Online Shop as quickly as possible on

How can I follow the status of my delivery?

You will receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order the morning after dispatch. The e-mail will also include the tracking number for you to check the progress of your delivery once the shipment is underway.
If you have registered as a customer you can also log into your personal online account on our Website (“My Account” section) to check the status of the order.

Will the delivery be delayed by having a pen engraved?

No, an engraving will not take any longer than normal or delay the delivery time. Our estimated lead times are as follows:  

Orders that are received after 12am Monday to Friday will not be processed until the following business day. Saturday and Sunday are not considered as regular business days with respect to estimated delivery lead times.

Orders that are placed over the weekend or on public bank holidays will be processed the following business day.

I’m visiting from outside the EU. Can I claim back the VAT?

Items that are bought in our online-shop or on the phone cannot be refunded for VAT. Please visit one of our Montblanc boutiques or an authorized retailer instead.
