- What is a CVV?
The security code is a security feature which is printed on the rear of most Visa and MasterCard credit cards. This three-digit security code ensures that the user who has just made an order online is actually the holder of the credit card and is authorized to use the credit card account.
- Is my payment secure / Is it safe to use my credit card online?

- Can I select the currency I will pay in?
Payments can only be made in dollars.
- Is it possible to charge a single order to multiple cards?
Unfortunately it is not possible to spread payments across different credit cards.
- Why was my credit card or other payment method declined at checkout?
There may be various reasons why a payment has not been accepted. Please call Montblanc Customer Service at 1-800-995-4810.

- When will I be charged for my order?
Your credit card or other payment method will not be charged until your order has been shipped. However, your account may already show that the sum has been debited immediately after the order has been placed. This is only a pre-authorization of the payment.
- Can I change the payment method after placing my order?
It is not possible to change the payment method after making an order.
- Why has $1.00 been charged to my credit card?
This is only a pre-authorization to check validity; a fee of $1.00 is temporarily held for payment on your credit card. This sum will be canceled automatically after a few days. The time it takes to cancel this fee will depend on the respective credit card company.
- I received a transaction number from Paypal, even though I was asked to choose a different payment method. Has my order been received?
An order is completed only after you have received an order number and Montblanc.com has sent a confirmation of receipt to your email address. In all other cases, this is only a pre-authorization of the total payment during the Paypal transaction. Payment will not be made. The sum will only be debited from your account once the order has actually been processed by Montblanc.com.
