The fine gold work of the Patron of Art Edition Peter I the Great reflects the magnificent court of the Russian tsar: surrounded by laurel wreaths, artistic yellow gold-plated ornamentation encircles the dark green barrel of Edition 4810. In Edition 888 these patterns are made of 750 white gold.
The cap top of the pen is adorned with precious emeralds, which glow in the same green as that of the barrel. The two-headed eagle, a motif from the rich iconography of the age of the tsars, is delicately engraved into the 18-karat gold nib.
