a modern twist on an elegant classic

The collection perpetuates traditional craftsmanship and emphasizes elegance through refined timepieces, powered by mechanical movements with modern twists, that will be everyday companions.

The sophisticated three-dimensional dial is constructed in eight different parts and decorated entirely by hand using traditional watchmaking techniques.

FULL CALENDAR

The Montblanc Star Legacy Full Calendar is powered by an automatic calibre which includes the hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, month, and moonphase complication. The day of the week and the month appear in apertures on the upper half of the dial, while the lower half is reserved for the moonphase display.

Limited Editions

METAMORPHOSIS LIMITED EDITION 8

The new Montblanc Star Legacy Metamorphosis Limited Edition 8 in blue combines the patented Exo Tourbillon, held in place by a sapphire crystal bridge, together with a new three-dimensional realistic moon display. This innovative timepiece is comprised of 718 components and was developed and produced entirely by Montblanc’s engineers and master watchmakers, and literally transforms itself by revealing two different faces.

The globe is surrounded by a 24-hour scale and a day/night indication. At 12 o‘clock, the dial reveals the beauty of Montblanc‘s patented one-minute Exo Tourbillon, representing the sun at 12 o‘clock in the Northern Hemisphere. At six o‘clock, there is an astronomical moonphase complication showing the Moon’s exact position in the sky as viewed from Earth.

SUSPENDED EXO TOURBILLON LIMITED EDITION 28

The Montblanc Star Legacy Suspended Exo Tourbillon Limited Edition 28 demonstrates mastery of artisanal aesthetic, and both classical and traditional complications. The patented Suspended Exo Tourbillon complication was developed entirely in-house by watchmakers at the Montblanc Manufacture in Villeret, requiring three years of development. The structure of the Suspended Exo Tourbillon allowed them to create a large balance wheel while eliminating the need to increase the size of the movement or the case. The balance wheel floats 3.2 mm above of the dial, thanks to a bridge with a single, curved stainless steel arm that mirrors the domed hour circle at 12 o'clock.

NICOLAS RIEUSSEC CHRONOGRAPH LE 200

This year we also see the classic watches of the Montblanc Star Legacy collection. The Automatic Date and Full Calendar models both come in stainless steel and feature black Roman numerals and coloured Sfumato straps.

The Montblanc Star Legacy Automatic Date is available in both 39 and 42mm variants. Its refined dial includes the Montblanc exploding star guilloché pattern, leaf-shaped hands, a filet sauté guilloché motif and a railway track. It is equipped with an automatic calibre and features the hours, minutes, and seconds in the centre and a date aperture at six o’clock.

The Montblanc Star Legacy Full Calendar features the same design codes of the collection and comes in a 42 mm stainless steel case. It is powered by an automatic calibre which includes the hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, month, and moonphase complication. The date is indicated by a hand with a red crescent tip sweeping along a wreath of 31 digits around the dial’s periphery. The day of the week and the month appear in apertures on the upper half of the dial, while the lower half is reserved for the moonphase display.
