Having already established itself as an internationally recognnized manufacturer of fine writing instruments, in 195 Montblanc opened a workshop near Offenbach, ready to conquer the art of leather. Over 80 years later, behind the walls of the Maisnon's leather competence centre on the outskirts of Florence, ancestral craftsmanship, state of the art technology and enduring design come together with the creation of every Montblanc leather piece. Montblanc continues to balance elegant aesthetics with purposeful functionality across each of its collections - from the classic Meisterstück Soft Grain to the Sartorial collection - resulting in pieces that continuously break new ground, while remaining timeless and classic.
MEISTERSTÜCK SOFT GRAIN LEATHER
Leather is a living material like no other; the crafting of each piece depends entirely on the skills and expertise of Montblanc artisans. By fully understanding the touch of the leather - how to cut it and how to assemble the individual parts - they can create authentic pieces of art.
MONTBLANC M_GRAM 4810
With a heritage that spans over a century, this collection is shaped by the past but focuses on the future. Underscoring the richness of the Maison's heritage, the two-colour M pattern is derived from the geometry and lettering from the graphics used in the Montblanc communications in the 1920s.
