The Montblanc Writers Edition Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Limited Edition, is dedicated to one of the most renowned crime novelists and originator of the famous consulting detective Sherlock Holmes. Made from Au 750 Solid White Gold, this fountain pen is skeletonized with an overlay on several translucent, hand-painted lacquer fields which draws inspiration from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle´s house Undershaw as well as an old street map of London. The clip comes in the shape of a magnifying glass and boasts the “ACD” logo. Hidden behind the logo lies a movable magnifying glass. As a reference to Doyle´s interest for spiritualism, the engraved cap ring top can be removed inspired by a sideric pendulum. This notion is again evoked through the engraving on the cone about a book that Doyle wrote about Spiritualism.
