THE DIVER THAT GOES THE DISTANCE (null)

Holding the record as the first diver to descend more than 100 meters without oxygen, free diver William Trubridge inspires our latest Montblanc Iced Sea edition timepiece, which can descend to 4810 meters below sea level and features Zero Oxygen technology for tested performance in harsh environments.

FEATURES

Connecting the world of the ocean to the mountain, the depth-defying timepiece conforming to the ISO 6425 standard inverts Mont Blanc Mountain's 4810-meter height to deliver unbelievable performance below sea level — a distance few watchmakers have dared to attempt.

The dial gives an impression of luminosity and depth, inspired by the impressive Mer de Glace glacier’s interlocking network of ice crystals, made possible by the rigorous gratté-boisé creative watchmaking technique. The blue tone mirrors the colour of ice found deep under the sea and is amplified with a Sfumato effect. 

Beautifully contrasting rich colour and natural textures, the 3D coloured engraved case back, created via laser-generated oxidation, illustrates the view divers see when diving underneath the ice.

Adventure further with Zero Oxygen — this invisible technology counteracts drastic changes in temperature and distance by eliminating fogging and preventing oxidization within the case. Zero Oxygen allows the timepiece’s robust components to go the distance and provide continued precision over time.

With attention to detail at every turn, the interchangeable black rubber strap, tapered in a V-shape, features a stainless steel double-folding clasp that can be easily adjusted directly on the wrist — enabling the right fit in every situation
