MONTBLANC X MAISON KITSUNÉ
Presenting a bold capsule collection
Inspired by the distinct cultural identities of Paris and Tokyo, former Daft Punk manager Gildas Loaëc and architect Masaya Kuroki created fashion, music and coffee brand Maison Kitsuné in 2002. “Kitsuné”, the Japanese word for “fox”, is a symbol of versatility that according to legend possesses the power to change its appearance. Their next shape-shifting act: the Montblanc x Maison Kitsuné capsule collection.
A collaboration that celebrates doing things differently
Maison Kitsuné channels the “Art de Vivre” (Art of Living) in everything they do. This intrinsically French phrase is reinterpreted throughout their one-of-a-kind label, encompassing fashion (Maison Kitsuné), music (Kitsuné Musique) and café culture (Café Kitsuné). Transgressing industry boundaries, Maison Kitsuné flows fluidly between passion projects – an approach to living and working that Montblanc shares. We believe that when you are supported and inspired to follow the things you love, great things can happen.
Our classic pieces get the Maison Kitsuné look
The Montblanc x Maison Kitsuné capsule collection is made from Saffiano printed leather with a reinterpretation of the Maison’s signature ‘Camo Fox’. Featuring leather goods, wearables and writing accessories, the collection audaciously pairs signature Montblanc products with the daring and playful aesthetic of Maison Kitsuné.
To coincide with the launch, a soundtrack has been created in collaboration with DJ, producer and Kitsuné Musique artist MATVEЇ. Listen now on Spotify.
