The Montblanc 1858 product line is inspired by the legendary professional Minerva watches from the 1920s and 1930s, which were conceived for military use and exploration. Reinterpreting these legendary timepieces, the Montblanc 1858 product line expresses the spirit of mountain exploration, embodying the modern trend of returning to nature.
Reminiscent of glaciers, the Montblanc 1858 Automatic Chronograph watch comes with a blue aesthetic combined with a bi-directional steel bezel that has been enhanced with shiny blue ceramic and the four engraved luminescent cardinal points. The 42 mm stainless steel case features both polished and satin finishes and has been engraved with the emblematic Mont Blanc mountain, a compass, and two crossed ice pick-axes, as a nod to the Spirit of Mountain Exploration. To complete the overall design, the Montblanc 1858 Automatic Chronograph is equipped with a blue Sfumato calf leather strap.
