Made from brown precious lacquer, the color is a reference to the smoking pipe often used by Holmes – an element that is also reflected in the wooden cap and cone. The cap and barrel of this edition are decorated with a plaid pattern in reference to Holmes’ coat, as well as parts of a historic London city map. The clip is inspired by the magnifying glass used by Sherlock Holmes.
