Product description: Montblanc Heritage Automatic Date

Inspired by historical Minerva classic wristwatches from the 1940s and 1950s, the Montblanc Heritage product line combines the elegance of watchmaking's past with today’s bold design codes and technology. The Heritage Automatic Date comes in a 40 mm stainless steel case with curved horns and the Minerva Manufacture embossing on the case back. The domed silver-white colored dial has applied rose gold-coated Arabic numerals, dots as indexes and luminescent rose gold-coated hours and minutes hands to match the overall design. The timepiece is completed with a domed sapphire crystal and a brown Sfumato alligator leather strap.

History

The following module is a scrolling parallax. Titles, texts, images and videos will be highlighted in the parallax when you scroll through the page.
  • Montblanc watchmaking is built on a unique set-up that brings two manufactures together, based in Le Locle and in Villeret, in the Swiss Jura mountains.
  • The Montblanc watchmaking story began in 1858 when Mr. Charles-Ivan Robert founded a watch workshop in Villeret. This marked the beginning of the historic Minerva era.
  • Today, Montblanc timepieces continue the journey of over 160 years of Minerva history through four fine watchmaking product lines: Star Legacy, Bohème, 1858 and Heritage, all linking the past and the present through design, style, and technical innovation.
