The Meisterstück Calligraphy Solitaire Burgundy Lacquer Fountain Pen is inspired by the encounter of art and writing. This solitaire piece is a contemporary interpretation of the classic burgundy color, enriched in its appearance by a new gradient lacquering technique and completed by signature gold-coated clip and fittings. The fountain pen is crowned with the innovative flexible nib, hand-crafted in Au750 / 18K solid gold and garnished with a delicate triple 8; a symbol inspired by calligraphy movements. The flexible nib allows a multitude of individual writing styles and line widths, which can range from extra fine (0.3 mm) to double broad (1.6 mm) depending on the pressure applied. With signature gold and/or signature gold-coating, Montblanc describes the enlightened shade of yellow gold which has become an appreciated tone for the Maison’s Writing Instruments.
