The Montblanc The Legend of Zodiacs The Goat Limited Edition 512 (8x8x8) is dedicated to the eighth sign of the zodiac as well as the number 8, which is considered a lucky number in Asian cultures.
The cap, made of Ag 925 sterling silver, is adorned with a skilful recreation of a hand-engraved figure of a goat, rich in symbolic meaning. According to myth, the Jade Emperor established the order of the zodiac based on the arrival of each animal at his great festival. The goat, gentle and not the strongest swimmer, cleverly teamed up with the monkey and rooster, building a small raft to float safely across, earning eighth place. From that day on, people born in the year of the goat are said to be gentle, kind, and creative, embodying warmth and harmony. In 2027, the goat will be associated with the element of fire, bringing extra strength, ambition, courage, and spontaneity to its gentle nature. The engraved figure on the cap captures this essence, with its upward-curving horns symbolising strength and power, and its long fur often associated with wealth and abundance.
