Only few athletes are celebrated and honoured as three-time Heavyweight Champion of the world, Muhammad Ali, whose legendary moments in sports and civil rights activism made him one of the most influential athletes and humanitarians of the 20th century. As an athlete, Ali shook up the world with his strength, skill, and personality, becoming Heavyweight Champion of the world at just 22 years old. His greatest results triumph, however, resulted from his humanitarian efforts. The cap is shaped like a boxing sack with a guilloche lacquering including hand-engraved solid Au750 gold inlays resembling a boxing glove and a peace dove. The forepart bears engravings of Ali’s six core principles. In honour of his 3rd world title of his boxing career, the Montblanc emblem on the cap is adorned with the number 3 cast from solid Au750 gold. Muhammad Ali’s victory pose is engraved alongside the inscription “TKO-W-7 (15)” (Technical Knockout in the 7th (of 15) rounds) on the gold-coated cap ring. The victory belt Muhammad Ali wore with pride inspired the design of the skeletonised clip, which is inscribed with “ALI”.
