100 YEARS OF LEATHER

This year, Montblanc celebrates 100 years of excellence in leather craftsmanship. From its origins in pen pouches designed to protect its iconic fountain pens, the Maison has evolved into a refined world of leather goods made to accompany every journey. Each Montblanc leather piece is thoughtfully crafted for both purpose and longevity, carrying the stories that unfold over time.

FLORENCE

As the first known Montblanc pen case to be made in Italy, it was named “Florence” in a tribute to Europe's leather capital. Crafted from sturdy Croco Dessin leather, the case was perfectly proportioned to hold a Meisterstück. Opening it revealed a distinctive ‘pop’ sound: a subtle detail reflecting the quality of its craftsmanship.
