The collection celebrates the know-how of the Pirelli craftsmen, “sgorbiatori”, who meticulously hand-carve tyre patterns; taking days to create just a single prototype. Paying tribute to 150 years of history, a graphic treatment of the Pirelli logo from the archives inspired the Au 750 white gold rhodium–coated skeletonised overlay on the cap and barrel – a pattern which continues onto the forepart while the black rubber surface showing through contains small particles of original Pirelli racing tyres with real track history. The official logo celebrating 150 years of Pirelli is engraved on the handcrafted Au 750 white gold rhodium–coated nib, while crowning the cap top, the Montblanc emblem shimmers in luminous mother-of-pearl.
