Each year, for 12 years, Montblanc is celebrating the East Asian zodiac of the year. The year of the dragon begins with the new lunar year in 2024. The Montblanc The Legend of Zodiacs The Dragon Limited Edition 512 (8x8x8) is dedicated to the zodiac sign dragon and also honours the number 8, which is considered a lucky number in Asian cultures. The Ag 925 sterling silver cap is hand engraved with a dragon. The rose gold-coated barrel is adorned with delicately engraved ornaments inspired by the Chinese symbol for wealth “Yuan Bao”. The rose gold-coated cone is set with an amethyst in reference to the birthstone of the dragon sign. The current year of the dragon, 2024, is engraved on the cap ring alongside the previous six years that fall under the sign of the dragon. The cap is crowned by the Montblanc emblem in mother-of-pearl. A fine engraving of the powerful dragon adorns the handcrafted, solid Au 750 gold nib.
