Each gift box is crafted from white paper, a blank page that invites you to leave your heartwritten message on it. To complete your gesture, our gift boxes are adorned with our signature ribbon.
In celebration of special occasions throughout the year, seasonal wrapping brings thoughtful meaning to every moment.
The original Meisterstück packaging from 1924 featured a cotton-lined interior within a protective sleeve, with the outer design primarily in blue. Today, this heritage is reimagined through the blue ribbon and black side panels — a subtle nod to the original sleeve.
Our gift boxes are crafted from FSC-certified structured paper. Chosen for its refined texture and tactile appeal, the material creates a sophisticated finish that enhances the unboxing experience from the very first touch.
Each white gift box features the Maison’s emblem, gently embossed at its centre — a subtle mark of distinction. The black sides reflect our refined aesthetic, while a deep blue ribbon honours the original colour of the packaging, tying past and present together in one considered gesture.
Writing instruments can be engraved in one of two places – down the side of the cap, or on the clip. Cap engraving is finished in yellow gold, rose gold or platinum to complement the trim of the writing instrument. Clip engraving is not applied in colour, as an elegant addition to the existing hardware. Please note that placement options may vary between products.
The number of letters that can be engraved depends on the placement chosen. Cap engravings can be up to 13 letters long, allowing for the addition of names or short messages. Alternatively, clips can feature up to three letters, making them better suited for initials.
Luxury pens can be engraved in one of three fonts. For a hand-written aesthetic, choose the elegantly slanted ‘Script’. For a curved, italic effect, opt for the ‘Rounded’ font. Lastly, the ‘Grotesque’ font comes with a more minimal, sans serif appearance. Please note that Montblanc engraving is only available in Roman characters. The colour of the font will depend on its placement – cap engraving will match the colour of the writing instrument’s metal fittings, whereas clip engraving is applied ‘blind’, meaning without colour.
Embossing comes mostly in two fonts. For an elegant hand-written effect, opt for the italicised ‘Rounded’ font. Alternatively, for a more minimal, sans serif aesthetic, choose the ‘Grotesque’ font. If you have a trolley with a tag on it then you can use our 'Goudy' font. Depending on the model, up to three or four letters can be embossed, making personalisation well suited for adding the owner’s initials. There is also the option to add full stops between letters. Please note that font options may vary depending on the product selected.
Embossed text can be applied in silver or gold foil, both of which add a luxurious metallic detail. For a more understated effect, choose the no-fill ‘blind’ option, which matches the colour of the leather product. Please note that colour options may vary depending on the product selected.
On products such as wallets and card holders, initials are embossed on the bottom-right corner. Pen pouches will typically feature initials on the outside of the flap, below the loop. Belt embossing is also applied to the reverse side. Trolleys are embossed on the luggage tag, located on the side of the product.
