Patron of Art Homage to Victoria & Albert Limited Edition 100 Fountain Pen

The Montblanc Patron of Art Edition in 2022 is dedicated to Queen Victoria & Prince Albert. The Limited Edition 8 is celebrating their love and Victoria's life after the loss of her beloved husband. The fountain pen is made from solid Au 750 white gold and black onyx. The barrel is partly adorned with brilliant cut diamonds as a homage to Victoria's 60th throne anniversary, the so-called diamond jubilee. As a highlight, the cap features a hand engraved amulet paying homage to Victorian lockets, notably a locket owned by Victoria in memory of her beloved Albert who passed away before her. The cap ring inspired by a Victorian wedding band is detachable. The cap top is inspired by a royal crown and is adorned with the Montblanc emblem in mother-of-pearl. The solid Au 750 white gold cone with engravings is adorned with blue sapphires and red rubies. The clip shape is a tribute to her sceptre while the solid Au 750 white gold forepart bears an engraving of the world map of her empire. The handcrafted solid Au 750 gold nib is embossed with a pansy, Victoria's favourite flower and also a symbol of loving thoughts.
